Shipping & Returns
Shipping Information
Orders placed during the hours of 9am-5pm EST, Monday - Friday, will be shipped within 24 to 48 hours. Shipments will be sent utilizing UPS and US Postal Service.Sales Tax
If your live in New York state we are obligated to collect sales tax. The amount of the tax collected depends on the the NY county you reside in. Once you're done shopping and have finished adding items to your cart, sales tax will automatically be calculated in your total.Returns and Exchanges
Harness Exchange Rules
If you would like to exchange an harness - please mail it back to us in original condition with absolutely no dog hair on it with your original invoice and a note stating what item you would like to receive in exchange. If you want to upgrade the item then contact us prior to return.Include $2.50 to cover the return shipping cost.
To qualify for an exchange you must return harness back to us within one week from the delivery date.
All harnesses returned harnesses that do not meet the conditions above will not be exchanged.

We are unable to offer refunds. Store Credit only
All Special Order items are final sell. We do not accept returns or exchanges on these items
The merchandise can be returned for a store credit if it meets the following conditions:
- The item must be purchased within 20 days
- It has not been unused and there is no dog hair on the item, it is in its original condition
- The item is in its original packaging which is also not damaged
- All parts, accessories, warranty cards, instructions, etc. are enclosed
Returns with pet hair that are deemed acceptable will have a 20% restocking fee applied.
There will be no credit issued for return of used merchandise.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs as well as the shipping cost of the exchanged item.
If you would like to exchange an item - please let us know via email at happydog@happydogplace.com. You will receive a reply within 24-48 hours with the return instructions. Please do not return merchandise without first contacting HappyDogPlace.com or you will be subject to a 20% restocking fee
